Garden Notes: This is the first year for me to grow this variety of penstemon. A related variety, Rondo pestemon, is one of the showiest Penstemon during its relatively short bloom season. Pinacolada is said to have a long bloom season. If the two are indeed combined in this plant it will be a great variety. Trial for 2010.
