Little Water, Red

All American Selection winner. Improved form. 4" flowers. Greater uniformity and reliable early, first year blooming.

Adaptable plant with showy red flowers. Reseeds, but easy to remove when young. Long bloom season.

Well drained soil is best, give plenty of room, will do well in a hot, exposed bed. Reseeds in flower beds. Nice magenta blooms.

Native to Texas, Mexico. Zone 8?- plant in warm spot. Tubular red flowers in loose clusters. Well drained soil, midday shade. Prune hard after bloom to encourage compact growth.

A tender perennial in the north, Plants grow 28' tall and have flat umbels of red flowers with orange hoods, flowers the first year. Plants are loved by butterflies. Blooms all summer with new flowers produced as the stems grow.

Dwarf, carmine red with white corolla.

Grows in the Rockies and more Southerly mountains. Flowers have overlapping shades of orange, yellow and red.

Red petals surround yellow corolla, showy, extremly hardy. Smaller blooms, but many of them.

Mix of colors not usually found in single Althea rosea var.-. Coppery orange, Gold, Bright Rose, Etc. Rust tolerant to degree not found in other hollyhocks.
