long bloom season producing many dark blue flowers
though the summer. Its leaves turn a nice red with the
cooler temperatures in fall.
Keep a border (a sidewalk- its roots travel) around this plant to keep
in place. Slow to leaf out in spring, dies to ground in winter, but
usually provides hint of red through winter. Spreads well with more
water. Limiting water will help prevent unwanted spread.
