Finding that perfect plant for your pots can be hard! 

Below we have some tips and tricks to help you keep your potted plants happy and healthy:

• First you will need to decide where you are going to put your potted plant.
• Sunny area? Part sun? Inside? 
• IMPORTANT! If you plan on putting your pot in a sunny area make sure that your pot is light colored to reflect the heat. Otherwise your pot will get to hot for your plant to stay healthy

• Next you will need to purchase the proper pot.
• Your pot need to accommodate the amount of plant space growing on top and the amount of roots the plant produces.
• You need to make sure your pot has some kind of drainage. No drainage can cause root rot if you over water and gnats will accumulate on the dying plant.

• We have potting mix at our Canyon Location, you can also add different mixtures to help your plants root growth.
• Rocks
• Empty water bottles (This would be better in larger pots. It will make it easier to move the pot around)
• Wood Chips

• Watering does NOT have to be a hassle
• Instead of keeping track of your watering on a calendar, stick your finger into the soil to check how damp it is. Especially with outside plants checking this way is easier.
• If you find that when watering your plant that the soil itself is not getting wet then you will need to "reset" your soil. You will need to soak your pot (With soil and plant inside) in water until you do not see anymore bubbles. Remove the pot and let drain. This will help get your soil wet again, though if you have to do this too often it will hurt your plant.
