
A mounding form of clematis to 24”. It produces large, showy blooms of pink, blue or white over dark green leaves for an extended time. Attractive feathery seed heads draw as much attention for their unique style as the flowers. The plants are somewhat slow to establish- they take a couple of years to get to a nice size, but it is proving to be a very tough perennial with a long bloom season. They slowly make a very nice size plant with lots of blooms and interest all season. Like other clematis, its roots prefer protection from afternoon sun.
