Perovskia atriplicifolia - 'Blue Spires'

This Russian Sage is a classic tall Xeriscape plant that produces showy blue blooms from mid summer to fall on upright stems. It thrives in the heat. Blue Spires does not spread and take over like some other varieties can.

Garden Notes:  Russian Sage is a great plant for pollinators- from butterflies to all sorts of bees and many more insects. It thrives in the heat and requires very little water. Cut old stalks off at ground level at the end of winter to give it a fresh start.
