Rapid growth to it’s mature size with additional moisture. Grey foliage. Provides small wildlife and birds food and habitat. Deer may browse on the plant for nourishment, but have never eaten mine to any great extent. Can be pruned to a hedge. / Garden Notes:-Panhandle native. Fire resistant. Makes a good windbreak or visual screen. Extremely tough plant. Best without additional moisture once established. Has narrow grey leaves. If necessary, cut back before spring growth begins.
