Common Name: SILVER MOUNTAIN MAHOGANY
Type: SHRUB
Light: SUN
Water: LITTLE
Color: WHITE TO YELLOW
Bloom Time: SPRING TO EARLY SUMMER
Height: 6'-10'
Width: 6
Comments: Native to the Texas Panhandle. A deciduous shrub. Slow growing. Nice deep green leaves with silver wool look on the underside through summer changing to russet colored leaves in fall. It has plumed tails on seed in late summer. It is said to be a good deer browse, but I have not had them eat on mine. Extremely hardy, dependable. Over time they may grow to the size listed.
